Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains subscription cancellation, renewal, failed payments, plan changes, and refund review practices for RentThyme.
Subscription renewals
Paid RentThyme plans renew according to the billing period selected at signup or checkout unless cancelled before renewal. Users are responsible for reviewing their plan, renewal date, billing contact, payment method, taxes, and fees.
Cancellation
Users may cancel future renewals through account billing tools where available or by contacting RentThyme support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; it does not automatically refund amounts already billed for an active or prior period.
Refund review
Unless required by applicable law or expressly approved by RentThyme, subscription fees, setup fees, add-ons, usage charges, and past billing periods are not automatically refundable. RentThyme may review refund requests case by case for duplicate charges, verified billing errors, service access issues, or other circumstances RentThyme considers appropriate.
Plan changes and failed payments
Upgrades, downgrades, trials, promotional access, marketplace listing access, or subscription changes may affect available features, renewal amounts, and access. Failed payments may result in reminders, restricted access, suspension, or cancellation. Payment processors and banks may cause delays outside RentThyme's control.
Misuse and mandatory rights
If an account is suspended or terminated for fraud, unlawful use, abusive conduct, unlicensed regulated activity, or violation of RentThyme policies, refunds may be denied to the maximum extent allowed by law. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer, statutory, or regulatory rights that cannot be waived.
Not legal or financial advice
Not legal advice. RentThyme provides software and general product information only. This page is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, real estate, property-management, repair, inspection, security, or other professional advice. Users should consult qualified professionals about their obligations.
