Marketplace Listing Terms
These terms explain how RentThyme Marketplace listings work and what listing owners remain responsible for.
Self-service listing technology
RentThyme Marketplace provides software tools that allow eligible RentThyme users to publish and manage rental listing information. RentThyme does not act as a real estate dealer, broker, agent, property manager, or representative for any listing owner, applicant, tenant, or viewer.
RentThyme does not control properties

- RentThyme does not guarantee listing accuracy, availability, rent amount, photos, property condition, safety, legality, leads, viewings, tenant quality, rent payment, occupancy, or successful tenancy.
Listing owner responsibilities
Listing owners are responsible for accurate descriptions, photos, pricing, currency, availability, viewing arrangements, screening decisions, tenant selection, lease terms, deposits, notices, repairs, safety, taxes, insurance, licences, registrations, and compliance with Jamaican law and any other applicable law.
Removal and suspension rights
RentThyme may remove, hide, restrict, or suspend listings or accounts if content appears fraudulent, misleading, outdated, discriminatory, unlawful, unsafe, unauthorized, infringing, connected to unlicensed regulated activity, or otherwise inconsistent with RentThyme policies or platform integrity.
Inquiries and viewings
Marketplace inquiries, messages, and viewing requests are communication workflow tools. Listing owners control follow-up and decisions. RentThyme does not negotiate, approve, decline, screen, or close rentals on behalf of users.
